This hand thrown ceramic acorn jar is approximately 3.5” high (up to the top of the shark’s fin) and 4” in diameter with the lid on.
SECONDS: Before this piece was fired, a mending agent was placed on the rim. The mending agent was fired and the piece is perfect in terms of structure and function; however you can see a drop of the mending agent on the bottom rim, as shown in the photo. There is also a small crack on the left fin. The crack is just superficial.
This piece has been fired to cone 6 and is food, dinnerware and microwave safe. While it is dishwasher safe, it is best to handwash for the longevity of the piece. Each piece has been photographed to the best of my availability. Color variations may be present based on the screen you are viewing.
